VOLUNTEERING INFORMATION

Volunteer support is desired for the Central Area Community Festival. Volunteers are needed on the festival grounds.  On the festival grounds we have the information booth, the children's and senior citizen activity center helping with such activities as BINGO, crafts, and games. Hundreds of people are expected for this one - day event. We are asking for a minimum commitment of a one - four hour shift on this day. If you elect to volunteer for more hours we would be delighted. If you are a student or a member of an organization seeking community service hours, then we can provide you a letter of participation. Saturday- 18th

10:00am to 1:30pm

1:00pm to 5:30pm

VOLUNTEER WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: In consideration of volunteering for the Central Area Community Festival and or the SEAFAIR Foundation, I, intending to be legally bound, do hereby for myself, executors and administrators waive, release and forever discharge any and all rights and claims for damages, including any claims of loss, damages or injury to my person or property arising out of my performance from the Central Area Community Festival and or the SEAFAIR Foundation, the owners of any event sites, any volunteers, their agents, representatives successors and assigns.

I hereby consent to allow my picture or likeness to appear in any official document, sponsor advertisement and/or television coverage of the Central Area Community Festival without compensation to me. I have read this waiver and knowing these facts I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue and waive, release and discharge volunteers, suppliers, agents, employees, and other personnel in any way assisting or connected with the events from any and all claims or liability of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of my participation, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or parties named in this waiver.
